The palm grove of Marrakech has more than 100,000 palm trees dating from the Almoravid dynasty over an area of more than 13,000 hectares.
The palm grove is considered an exclusive area of the city and is at the center of a major development plan which includes houses, hotels and golf courses. For now, it retains a mystical feel and existing developments are not intrusive.
The palm grove is a source of wealth for the city. In addition to the dates and wood that are obtained by hand, it enjoys a perfect climate for the fruit trees and the plantations that grow there.
We offer a half-day excursion to the palm grove of Marrakech which includes the visit of a Berber village. The price includes: return transfer from your hotel or riad, camel ride and tea.
